Xenum DPF Cleaner is a spray designed for quick and easy cleaning of diesel particulate filters (DPFs). This allows soot, combustion residues, and other contaminants to be removed from the DPF without disassembly. This cleaning process restores the DPF's capacity and extends its lifespan.
Advantages
- Cleaning without disassembling the DPF (diesel particulate filter)
- Avoiding performance losses
- Avoiding problems on short journeys.
- Extends the lifespan of the diesel particulate filter.
Characteristics
- No metal
- Non-flammable
- Ash cleaner
Application
The temperature of the diesel particulate filter must be between 20°C and 40°C when this product is used.
- Remove the temperature or pressure sensor from the exhaust pipe directly in front of the diesel particulate filter.
- Insert the spray nozzle tube of the spray can into the opening with the spray direction towards the filter.
- Spray the contents into the filter, moving the nozzle while spraying. Leave to work for at least 30 minutes.
- Reinstall the temperature or pressure sensor.
- Start the engine; dirty water (contaminated with soot and ash) will drip from the exhaust. Let the engine idle until the dripping stops.
- Initiate the regeneration process with a 20 to 30-minute test drive at higher speeds (approx. 100 km/h) and high engine speeds (3,000 rpm).
Read the on-board computer and clear any error messages if necessary.
